This is a journey I never expected to take. I’m not sure if you want to come along but you are welcome to. If you find that as you are aging, you struggle in your relationships with your adult children, join me in finding the whys or the ways. I know me and I know there will days or weeks, even months where I will shut down and not say or more accurately post a word, but I feel the need to speak out sometimes when things overwhelm me and I don’t trust myself talk to anyone I love. Maybe it’s out of fear of hurting them, or that they won’t listen and really hear me. Those two sentence right there are the very core of why I am here. I feel more isolated as I have grown older, less trusting and less inclined to share my true emotions with people. I know why but I don’t know how to break the cycle. Hopefully there is someone out there who can provide illumination or find some from my words. This is a helping blog, for those of us who need to express themselves. Welcome.
